The L&T 1190 Soil Compactor is a powerful 11-ton single-drum Compactor designed to revolutionise soil compaction in Construction and Infrastructure projects. Attention to detail
The machine's design puts it ahead of others in an already standardised segment of compactors. The drum module weighs 6350 kg out of the 11000 kilograms, accounting for about 60% of the total machine weight, making it the heaviest drum module in its class. Being a single-drum compactor, this is an invaluable asset because the front drum is where the compaction happens. To withstand this heavy load, L&T 1190 also has the thickest drum in its class, with a 30 mm thickness, giving the drum unbattered durability and reliability.
The L&T 1190 has a drum drive variant (1190D) that can work in hilly terrains with a 40% gradability. An optional Pad foot attachment can be added to the drum drive variant to work in marshy or clayey conditions.
Maintenance and service accessibility
Other standout features of L&T 1190 are maintenance and accessibility to components. Most of the service components are accessible from the ground level. The curved engine hood and exhaust position are designed to not interfere with the operator's rearview, giving him 1 meter x 1 meter all-around visibility. It comes with a collapsible canopy for ease of transportation.
