Providing uniform surface finish
The machine's operational weight is evenly distributed between the drums, ensuring consistent compaction at the front and rear ends. The L&T 990HFi features a suspended frame design, providing a significant advantage in shoulder compaction (near road edges) compared to its competitors. With a kerb clearance of 800mm, it holds the highest position in its class. Additionally, it excels in delivering a uniform surface finish to the road, making it the best in class. Boasting a 60Hz drum vibration frequency, the L&T 990HFi surpasses every other model in the segment.
Operator Comfort of the highest class
The operator comfort is of the highest standard in L&T 990Hfi. The 5-position lock revolving operator console gives excellent drum edge visibility to the operator for shoulder compaction. There is a separate engine compartment on the rear chassis of the machine, which is easily accessible for service maintenance. The operator stays isolated from the engine's rumble as his station and the engine compartment are on different halves of the machine, unlike many other models in this segment with the engine under the operator station.
