Our Corporate EHS policy is the driving force behind EHS Management initiatives, Individual Safety Protocols and Zero Accident Vision in all our workshops and project sites. EHS management includes employees, contractual staff and dealers, who are the extended arm of our business. We continuously endeavour to improve our systems and processes to enable EHS performance to sustain on a long-term basis. EHS Policy Manual, Departmental Procedures and SOPs are in line with the requirements of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.

Various EHS related events such as Road Safety Week, National Safety Day, World Environment Day, Chemical Disaster Prevention Day and L&T Safety Day are observed to ensure that the individuals are sensitized towards the multiple requirements of the industry. We have an established Safety Committee called SAFAL (Safe and Accident Free Always), which reviews the EHS performance periodically and ensures the implementation of best safety practices and regulations, across CMB, with focus on continuous improvements in the safety operations.

Safety has been given a top priority and Safety Officers have been put in place in all Service Centres across India. An exclusive online portal dedicated to Safety has been developed to provide ready access to information on EHS matters.
